Florida 2006

The Tenth-annual Mother-Daughter trip to Orlando and environs (over 11 years)

Here we are, the very first morning, waiting for the Magic Kingdom to open.

While it was warm, with record-breaking temperatures, we had a wonderful time.

And for some reason, there were very few people in the park! The longest we had to wait in line for any ride was about 20 minutes, and many rides were walk-ons.

Yeah, we're weird. One of our very favorite things to do is to ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Tram!

It's a nice relaxing thing to do in the middle of the day.

This year, since it may be our last trip for a few years, I filmed the entire ride. It took about 10 minutes.

One of our other traditions (and we are BIG on traditions...we go on the rides in the same order every year...)

Anyway...we save the Astro Orbitor for the last ride, and wait until dark so that the lights are on, the planets are lit up, and it has a great feel.

Of course, it also means that our day is at an end...sigh....
